The short version: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, carries no trackers, and makes no requests to anyone else while you read it. Nothing about your visit is recorded by us.
That is why there is no cookie banner. There is nothing to consent to.
Who is responsible
The Website Studio is a sole trader operated by Harrison Ross, based in Brighton and Hove, East Sussex, United Kingdom. For data protection purposes that is the data controller. Contact: harrisonross555@gmail.com.
What the site collects
Nothing automatically. There are no cookies, no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, and no embedded third party content. The fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google, so no request leaves for anyone else before the page renders.
What happens when you contact us
The contact form and the project planner do not send anything anywhere on their own. They open a message in your own email program, already filled in, which you then choose to send or not. Nothing is stored by this website at any point.
When you do send it, we receive whatever you put in it, usually a name, a business, an email address, sometimes a phone number, and a description of the project. That is used to reply to you and to quote for the work, on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering a contract. It is not used for marketing, and it is never passed to anyone else.
Enquiry emails are kept while there is a live conversation and for six years afterwards if the enquiry becomes a paid project, which is the period tax records must be kept for. Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted within twelve months.
Hosting
This site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, their servers process requests in order to serve the pages, which involves IP addresses at the network level. We do not have access to, and do not keep, any visitor log from that.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to how it is used, or ask for a copy of it. Email the address above and it will be actioned within one month, at no charge.
If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, which is the UK supervisory authority.
