What was wrong
A single artist with a serious following on Instagram and a Squarespace site that could not communicate scale, price, or how to actually book a large piece.
How we read the brand
Black and grey realism is about tone, so the site is built in tone: near black, a single antique gold, and portraits that reveal from stencil to finished ink as you scroll. Booking is the part most tattoo sites get wrong, so we built a wizard where you pick the placement on a body map, describe the piece, and set the size, which is exactly the information an artist needs to quote.
What it does now
Enquiries arrive with placement, size, and reference already attached, so a consultation starts at the interesting part.
Every screen, as it really renders.
Captured from the live site at full width. Nothing here is a mockup or a flattering crop.
Home
One face, one claim about detail lasting, and the numbers that matter to somebody choosing an artist.

Portfolio
Full width plates. Realism work dies in a thumbnail grid, so there is no grid.

Booking
The body map wizard. Placement, size, and budget captured before anybody sends a message.

The process
What actually happens across a large piece, session by session, so a first timer knows what they are committing to.

On a phone
Most of the traffic to a site like this arrives on a phone, so the mobile layout is designed first and the desktop version follows it.

The same site at 430 pixels wide. Type resizes rather than shrinks, the navigation collapses into something you can reach with a thumb, and every image is served at a size that will actually load on mobile data.
